We are only accepting SmartPhones, Tablets, iPods, Data modems and MacBooks

No. generally these are CDMA phones, and have no Buyback value.

Device Condition Definitions

Brand New InBox Never Used:
Brand New products must come in their original brand new box. 
• Device has never been used. 
• Accessories have never been used.
• The original accessories still need to be in their individual packaging.
• Proof of Original Purchase Receipt is required to be uploaded or sent.

Very Light Use:  Like new Condition.
• No defects in LCD/Screen (no white pixels in LCD)
• No marks on Screen or  housing.
• No scratches or dents on back housing or corners of housing.
• Battery LifeCycle above 90%
 
• Powers on & off.
• Can make and receive calls.
• WiFi/Cellular 100% working.
• Speaker, Camera, Microphone, 100% working.
• No faulty or missing buttons.
• Housing not bent.
• No water damage.
Device includes its battery & back cover (accessories not required)

Normal Use: 
• No defects in LCD (no dead pixel damage, or discoloration in LCD)
• Battery LifeCycle above 80%
• Medium Scratches and Small Scuffs, May have 3 medium  marks on housing or Screen. 
• Dents around the corners of housing upto 3 marks.

• Housing not bent. 
• Handset Includes its battery & back cover (accessories not required)
• Powers on & off.
• Can make and receive calls.

• No faulty or missing buttons.

Heavy Use :
• LCD/Screen Works But -heavy scratches, some white pixels in LCD.
• IPHONES:  LCD/Screen WORKS But has Cracked Glass, or some white pixels in LCD.

• Battery LifeCycle below 80%
• 4 or more scratches on screen.
• 4 or more scratches, marks on housing.
• Dents around the corners.

No, we only require the handset and battery. 
Please make sure your SIM card is removed.
Cashaphone will quickly destroy any SIM cards received, to protect your data and any airtime costs you may still have on the card.

Please note that we accept no liability in the event that any phone that has been sent with its SIM card and chargers are incurred. You shall continue to be responsible for such charges.

For products valued over $300 we recommend our customers to use Registered Post, allowing you to track and trace your items. 
We will include a Registered Post Label, if you request a Satchel from us.

For products valued over $300 we recommend our customers to use Registered Post, (supplied in our satchels) allowing you to track and trace your items.
Australia Post is great these days and rarely looses parcels.

Cashaphone is not liable for items that may be lost or damaged by Australia Post.

When using the FreePost service, it should take approximately 3-7 working days to be delivered to Cashaphone. With remote regional areas parcels can typically take up to 7+ days to arrive.

Payment

As of 2020 we no longer pay to Bitcoin.

Your payment is processed within 24-48hrs from the date we test and confirm your devices.
You will be notified by email, at each stage of the process from start to end.
You will be receiving 3 emails from start to finish.
 
Alternatively you are also able to get updates and payment status anytime by logging into your account online.

  • Log into icloud.com/find with Apple ID and password
  • Select device from “All Devices” drop down and select your device (top, centre of screen)
  • Device pop up box will appear.
  • Click “Remove from Account “
  • Confirm by clicking “Remove”
B: From another Apple device with same Apple ID (iOS 10.3 or later)
  • Tap Settings > [your name], then scroll down.
  • Tap any device name to view that device's information
  • Scroll down and Tap [ Remove from Account ]

From Handset -Turn Off / disconnect  accounts:
Make sure you are connected to WiFi or Cellular network.
Go to SETTINGS .
In search box, type and click [factory data reset]
Scroll down and click [RESET] icon.
Password maybe required to Reset.

From PC - Turn it Off Reactivation Lock from Google’s website.

  • Log into https://myaccount.google.com with your Google email address and password.
  • “Under Sign In & Security >” On left of screen - click on “Device Activity And Notifications”.
  • On the right of the screen click [Recent security events] and click on [REVIEW DEVICES]
  • You will now see all devices linked to your Google account.
  • Click on every single device which you want to remove (inc. the one mentioned above) and select REMOVE under account access.

Most Pre-Paid devices from Supermarkets will not have a BuyBack price

Cashaphone is required by the Second-Hand Dealers Act to record IMEI numbers of devices we buy. We can complete this information for you when we receive your device.

Most models have the number printed on the back of the handset or if back door comes off, it can be found under the battery pack. 
OR
For Smartphones the IMEI number found by going to the Telephone KeyPad.

1. Press * # 0 6 # on your keypad.
2.Press ‘Call’ or ‘Send’ as if making a call.
3. Your IMEI number will be retrieved and displayed on your screen.

Phones have Brand followed by a Series of model and then the model name or number.

Example of SAMSUNG Brand and 
Series are:
Samsung Galaxy J | Samsung Galaxy S | Samsung Galaxy NOTE | Samsung Galaxy A

Other models that have Brand and Series:

We would be happy to supply a copy of the certificate, by simply contacting us.

No we do not sell or swap
The products collected, Refurbished and are distributed in bulk to local & overseas Markets.

CashAphone will only honor the Buy-Back price if you are the rightful owner.
If any product or products turn out to have been reported lost or stolen,
CashAphone will not process payment or  any compensation for the device(s).
We are required by law to hand in any product that is stolen to the legal owner or to the local police station.

Counterfeit/fake devices sent will be crushed and recycled by CashAphone.
No payment will be made and the device will not be returned.

3 Day Phone Back Promise :
If your device fails our testing (differs from what you have stated), we will contact you by email.
You will be given the option to accept the adjusted price, or have your device(s) returned.

There is no fee for the return of your product(s).
If we haven’t heard from you after 3 days, we will continue to process the device at our tested price.

All devices are plugged into Mass Data Erasing software.
Even before we start to Grade and test your device(s).

All materials received by Cashaphone are Data erased to DoD 5220.22 non reversible standards.
Any products that do not turn on are recycled and processed according to Aust. State and National laws and in an environmentally controlled manner, eliminating ewaste to landfill.
